Who designed the journal and who can use this journal?

I designed this journal to assist with my own design process for the production of fabric surface designs. I then decided to help other artists and students abroad in having access to one of my tools.

What does the journal contain?

This journal contains a combination of blank pages for illustrating thoughts, small scale graph pages for sketching compositions/colour charts and recording art mediums for swatch colour conversions. A self-guided journal to note down your inspiration, thoughts and ideas.

Page surface is ideal for lead pencils and colour pencils. the spiral binding also allows you to easily remove pages so you can store them with your artwork, or you can leave them in your journal.

Journaling during travels...
The original concept was developed to help designers abroad, for those in professional roles. An easy flip spiral bound book to pop in your bag for your next holiday. This journal is particularly helpful for those who enjoy recording their inspiration and colour concepts - a great tool for surface designers in building a solid design concept.

I sell my art prints direct with Bluethumb. I am able to be connected with other artists and work towards building my profile and having access to news, events and sales.

You may also wish to view my ‘SHOP HANDMADE’ page in the near future. I am currently building on my business in the development of selling more designs within my own website.

I am not currently stocking art prints in bulk.

Where can I purchase your fabric prints?

At present I am only taking online bookings. This process commences with the customer reaching out from my CONTACT page.

I am still working towards the delivery of an online booking form that I will have available in the near future.

What happens next?
Messages will be answered within 5-7 business days. From there, we commence the communication line to learn more about your business needs.

What fabric can I have your designs printed on?
Your options are almost considered endless, as I have sourced a number of printers that I can work with and depending on the scale of your print run (quantity per metre), we can work towards gaining quotes.

Where do you have your designs printed?

I print with Australian printers for commercial production.

Why do you not stock your fabric in bulk and sell direct?
I am conscious of the environment and prefer to prevent waste and landfill. This also allows customers to purchase the exact quantity they require, fresh and direct from the printing press.

Do you test your fabric designs?
Yes, I always encourage my clients at the time of booking, to order x1 metre of the design in print on the fabric of their choice. This will allow you the time to review the design on fabric, before you commit to orders exceed x5 metres.

Are you able to work a custom design?
I am not currently taking orders for custom designs;

Many of my designs you find on my Instagram page are prints that that I designed and obtained test prints from Materialised. Some of these prints were sewn and prepared into cushions for sales in my shop.

Some of the designs prepared for test print by Materialised may eventually be moved to another platform;

This process is currently not within my control and I am working towards opening up a page on my site that hosts unique commercial designs for trade clients.

I will continue to work Materialised for commercial trade enquiries.

On occasion I will load handmade products that sample my fabric prints. These products are listed as handmade by the artist, unless specified otherwise;

Meaning some products might also be listed as print/custom made products. These products are produced direct from the printing outlet and stocked at the FinBok Publishing - home studio.

All products on this page are stored/stocked at the FinBok Publishing - home studio. Prices are excluding GST, as I am not currently registered for GST.

Quality assurance for Handmade products

What delivery service do you use for handmade products?

I use Australia Post. You can have your items delivered regular post and express post. Prices are charged according to Australia Post.

Sorry, I am not currently shipping international orders.

Why do you only sell the cover and not the cushion, or pillow insert?

I don’t stock supplies and many customers have their own preferences for the firmness of their cushions and pillows. I recommend that you purchase the cushion and/or pillow that suits your needs.

Do you accept returns on handmade products?
I take responsibility for my services and products.
I also recommend that you take photos of the product(s);

If damaged on packaging and/or, if your product is damaged.

On completion of downloading your .pdf file(s), this confirms the sale is complete and no refunds will be granted. PDF downloads are a digital file(s) ONLY - you will not receive the printed version in the mail. Please ensure you download the file(s) completion of your purchase.

To download the files, use the links you receive in your email. Keep in mind that links expire after 24 hours. If you try to access them afterwards, a new email will be sent to you.

How can I use my pdf digital file?
My pdf digital files are for individual use only and are protected by international copyright laws. when you purchase my pdf files, you agree that you will not duplicate, onsell, or use in a group gathering. You may only use this for your own personal use, to create gift tags, cards, frame the finished colour page.

If you are in a group setting with others who wish to use the same artwork, I encourage you to ask them to support my small business and purchase their own copy.

Please respect that my designs take time to develop and test. Therefore, I ask that you respect my small business and apply by these terms when you purchase my files.

To engage our services, a formal quote must be agreed. All proposals, quotes and projects are subject to the client terms included in our Graphic Design Agreement. When you engage our services, you agree that we are reliant on the information supplied by you, the client, in order to provide the services. We cannot be held responsible for any results of our services based on such client information and we cannot be held responsible for how you choose to use the outputs of our services.

Any images, graphics, photographs and other content (together “Material”) you may find on our website are owned by us or may have been created by us for our clients with permission to reproduce on our website. At no time are you permitted to copy, download, share or otherwise use this Material for any purpose. All Material on our website is copyright protected.
